We had already worked with Solo\u2019s owner for another yacht and we were confident we could meet his wishes for his new boat. Like the previous time he had precise ideas how his yacht interior should look like: it had to be cosy and welcoming, timeless and understated with predominant dark hues which were unnegotiable. We focused on colour combination to meet his requests and to create the interior he was expecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Solo 3-metre extra length and the underwater exhausts allowed a gain of volume on every deck. It enabled to design a layout with large social spaces inside and outside, guest accommodation for up to 10 on the main deck, a wide beach club with spa, a spacious winter garden and a cinema\/lounge\/library, a dining with a stabilized fish tank on the main deck and a lounge with huge windows, a 90\u201d 4K OLED TV screen, a fireplace, a bar and a baby grand piano on the wide-body portion of the upper deck. Guests step on board through lateral sliding door instead of sliding door from after deck and area led into a true reception area with a back-lit onyx bar counter. The main entryway modelled after a winter garden can also be used as a further relaxing area. It has a stairway which leads down to the the beach club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Forward of the cosy winter garden and reception bar\/desk the main deck houses a cinema\/lounge\/library that can be enclosed by an electric sliding glass panel, the dining room for 16 and a huge stabilized fish tank. A custom-made lamp consisting of a bronzed mirror-tiled surface overhangs the custom-made dining table. The cut-down bulwarks with laminated glass panels enable sea view while having dinner inside. All guest cabins \u2013 VIP and 4 guest cabins, two twins and two convertible into double \u2013 are located forward on the main deck and enjoy unusually large windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The beach club is a key feature on board Solo<\/em>. The spacious area presents a back-lit onyx welcoming counter bar and a conversation area which takes advantage of the skylight on the bottom of the main deck pool. The beach club is connected to the spa equipped with hamman featuring Calacatta marble from Tuscany and a 5\u00b0C chilled water shower. It also includes a sauna whose wood has been sourced from a medieval castle in Finland, and a glass-walled gym by Technogym, both with a fold-out terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The upper deck features a salon with huge windows, a 90\u201d 4K OLED TV screen, a fireplace, a bar and a baby grand piano inside and a large conversation area with sofas around the dining area for 12 outside. This deck also includes a hair-dressing-massage room that can be converted into an additional cabin with bathroom close by for a bodyguard or an officer or even for extra guests when the yacht is chartered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The flydeck is entirely destined to the owner and can be accessed from the lift and from the deck through a security code. The owner\u2019s apartment features an oversized height which recalls the interior of a home, skylights on top of the bedroom, two secluded outdoor terraces, a private Bisazza mosaic-tiled, glass-walled Jacuzzi, shaded sunpads and full-height windows which provide an unrivalled panoramic view. When landing on the touch-and-go helipad after, the owner can directly reach his apartment. After on the same deck the owner can enjoy his own independent TV room, also convertible into an additional guest cabin with a bathroom nearby when the yachts is chartered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The owner brief for an understated and elegant d\u00e9cor was achieved by putting an emphasis on matching the same materials in different ways while keeping the same atmosphere. Black oak was selected for the floor, tinted dark grey oak for the walls, while high gloss Macassar ebony with grey flamed touches was chosen for the custom-made furniture. Forest Black Antique marble from France was selected for the beach club area floor, the stairway leading to the main entrance, for the owner bathroom, while Cappuccino marble from Rajasthan was chosen for the furniture of custom-made furniture. All guest bathrooms highlight Striato Elegante Honed marble from India while the VIP bathroom and the stairway steps connecting the different decks present White Onyx from Mexico. All marble, except Onyx, feature a smooth finish. Hard leather with saddle stitching was used for the top of the owner desk and the custom-made wing-shaped furniture in the VIP and in the dining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Careful attention was given to several details such as the recessed light of the Onyx stairway steps,<\/p>\n\n\n\n the colour of steel finishing for handles, handrail and doorsteps. A custom-made upholstery consisting of brushed grey and brown oak slats was designed for the wall surrounding the staircase connecting the different decks. Light shades of selected soft fabrics carefully balance the dark hues of floor and walls. Made-in-Italy brand names like Fendi Casa combine with all custom-made furniture by the design firm. All bathroom fittings and accessories are by Dornbracht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The galley and crew quarters are located on the lower deck, while the underlower deck is devoted to laundry room, pump room, storage, garbage, freezers, AC units and technical spaces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":492,"parent":0,"template":"","tipologia":[10,9,8],"class_list":["post-1569","imbarcazioni","type-imbarcazioni","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tipologia-awd","tipologia-esterni","tipologia-interni"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
