Baglietto 34 m has been the best ever sold Baglietto. The 43 FAST, the first planing Baglietto of the new generation since Gavio took over the boatyard, was designed to be contemporary yet rooted in Baglietto tradition. We were hungry with the opportunity to reinvent a new generation of yachts keeping the brand identity of the past. Her exterior keeps the identity of the distinctive sleek Baglietto lines, evokes the concept of speed and keeps the one-and-half-deck configuration above deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She combines the past with new elements such the shape of the superstructure and the black side windows running from the stern to the bow. Both were reinterpreted according to contemporary design trend and requirements. The top shows a different shape and combination between glass and aluminium. The side windows \u2013 a distinctive feature of Baglietto \u2013 feature here 4 windows which can be opened allowing more light and air come inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Forward an extra sun-bathing area with a Jacuzzi (it is structural and made in aluminium) was created for the first time above the forward garage thus increasing open-air spaces which include the traditional area forward and aft on the main deck while the flybridge consists of a 75 sq m terrace with a sunbathing area, a conversation and dining area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The garage aft is bigger than usually and can house a 5-m tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wheelhouse features a dark greay glossy finishing and a dark grey leather. Colours make this space very different from any other onboard and enable to enhance the technological \u201cheart\u201d of the yacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the owner\u2019s needs the wheelhouse includes an area aft with two big observation settees – to blend with crew – and a Playstation for his kids. Besides meeting her owner\u2019s needs and being impressive for the design, the solution we chose for the settes aft show how this area is deeply rooted in Baglietto tradition, just look back to Apache II, a 44 m-Baglietto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the main deck, as a distinctive feature of Baglietto yachts, the exterior area aft is divided from the living from a foyer with a welcoming bar located between two sliding doors. A large skylight was designed here to allow light to come here from the upper deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The area forward the lobby amidships is a design innovation on board a Baglietto. The owner liked to have a large area which could be also divided when needed. We designed a large area which consists of three parts: the first is a large dining room with a pass-through between it and the galley as the owner likes to see what\u2019s going on in the galley.However, it can be used as a formal dining area once you close the opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second area is the galley, which gets light from a skylight above. The third area is an informal and smaller dining area located forward the galley. This area was also meant to be used for breakfast by the owner. Although the boat features of course separate areas for the crew, the crew is essentially part of the family on board<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The solution of the panel for closing off the opening when wanted is very functional yet effective.
