We had already worked with Attila\u2019s owner, an experienced yachtsman, for the interior design of his previous yacht, a Sanlorenzo 46 m. Attila interior was designed in cooperation with Margherita Casprini, who flanks our studio by creating the interiors that best express their clients\u2019 taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attila\u2019s owner liked to actively take part into the whole design process and we met him a lot of times to get to the final decision of materials and layouts. As he likes so much to spend his time on board with his friends, large social areas for relaxing and enjoying food were a priority. A cosy atmosphere to feel at home far away from home was also fundamental. The size of the yacht allowed for very large social and private areas as he liked to have and for including artworks we suggested and the owner chose to aim at the vibe he liked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We focused on creating a layout and a d\u00e9cor according to the owner current wishes and way of life. From the very first moment you step on board, Attila matches her owner\u2019s life philosophy: relax, good food, social relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The layout of the lower and main deck is pretty unusual aft and consists of one huge area which develops on both decks. It is meant as a meeting point for owner and his guests where they can spend their time on board relaxing and enjoying food. A T-shaped stairs connects the two decks while two folding terraces on both sides on the lower deck increase further the area which feature a beach club, a gym, a message room, a sauna, a hammam, a day toilet, a relax and social area with a two-sided sofa around a bar counter and a up-and-down TV screen in the middle. The main deck includes a wide pool outside aft which also works as a skylight to the beach club, an informal dining and bar area with a dining table and a bar counter with stools in front of the kitchen where the owner himself likes to cook while staying with his guests, as he thinks time spent together during lunch or dinner is unforgettable. While seated around the table and bar, the glass walls around the stairway to the beach club allow a visual connection between the lower and the main deck. A more formal dining area is located on the bridge deck aft close to the living while a cinema lounge is located on the main deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Further social alfresco areas include the wide forward area on the bridge deck which can be also be used for relax, parties or as a helipad, and on the sun deck with a pool and a further dining area, a small pantry and a dumb waiter serving all the decks. Two larger pantries are located on the main and bridge deck and include a wine and meat cellar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guest accommodation is provided for 10 on the main deck with 4 double and a full-beam Vip forward, while crew and staff accommodation is created on the lower \u2013 crew cabins, a well-equipped galley and crew dining – and on the bridge deck with a wide cabin and a studio for the captain and a cabin for a nanny or to be used as a playroom for kids. As the owner thinks crew is very important onboard, crew members should feel good on board and enjoy comfortable accommodation and working spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deck between the bridge and the sun deck is for the owner private use. It features the master suite with floor-to-ceiling windows forward, a dressing room, two bathrooms and a hair-dressing room, a living with a wide sofa by Baxter aft which includes a desk on port side and a relaxing corner on starboard. A private pool is located forward while a relaxing area with sofa aft, both outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Materials research was essential for creating the welcoming environment. Teak combines with Calacatta marble, grey for the guest areas, Gold for the owner\u2019s bathroom, Onyx White Gold was used for bar area on the main deck, the wall of the lobby on every deck, mosaic for the walls of hammam and massage room, lacquered panels or wallpapers were used for ceilings, teak for the motifs of the ceiling slats, Nabuk leather for the headboards, the corridor walls and the stair steps, steel for most of details. For the furniture Italian brands like Flexform and Baxter combine with custom-made furniture by our studio such as coffe-tables and dining tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The choice for the artworks, pictures and every decoration items took a long time. They were all suggested by our team and chosen by the owner, such as the gold gorilla statue on the dining room, the statues in beach area and the silver armchair by Baxter in the owner\u2019s master.
