Research, experimentation, balance: the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio’s philosophy is all in these three words. For longer than thirty years Francesco Paszkowski has been designing displacement and planing yachts in a range of dimensions for famous shipyards and a select international clientele. In collaboration with his team of designers and architects Paszkowski and his studio have penned yachts that can be seen today navigating all over the world.
Born in Milan, Francesco Paszkowski learned the fine points of yacht design from Pierluigi Spadolini. After years of commuting between Athens and Singapore for a boat building venture, Paszkowski moved back Florence in 1990 and opened his eponymous studio. From the first 29m open yacht drawn for Baglietto in 1992 to the recently launched 72m superyacht designed for Tankoa, Paszkowski has created a wide range of successful designs and collaborated with internationally known shipyards such as Canados, Cantiere delle Marche, CRN, Custom Line, Heesen Yachts, ISA Yachts, Rizzardi, Sanlorenzo, Tankoa and Turquoise Yachts. On top of these commissions, Francesco Paszkowski and his studio are often contacted directly by owners looking to create the yacht of their dreams.
Over the years yachts have changed and so have the technologies used to design them. No one can rest on their laurels, every day there is something new to learn and something beautiful to create.
